IORP Directive must not 'unpick' pension systems, rapporteur warns The European lawmaker appointed as rapporteur for the IORP Directive has warned that the law must not damage existing pension systems and insisted he would take time to engage with stakeholders as he drafted his report on the legislation. On March 18, 2015, an AEIP Construction sector working groups meeting was organized. Several topics were discussed, including an EU Project on the Social ID Card for construction workers that AEIP contributed to as coordinator, occupational health and safety and vocational training, and paid holidays schemes. Yesterday the final event of TTYPE (Track and Trace Your Pensions in Europe) project took place at the European Economic and Social Committee. TTYPE delivered a high level design for a European pension tracking service. The purpose of a pension tracking system is to give people in Europe the opportunity to obtain an overview of their pension entitlements in the various EU countries where they have accrued pensions. On 9-10 March, 2015, AEIP participated in the European Summit on Innovation and Healthy Ageing organized within a frame of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing.
