Following the invitation by EIOPA, AEIP took the opportunity to participate in the exchange of views in Frankfurt on 6 February and 19 April 2017 on the organization and implementation of the 2017 EIOPA Occupational Pensions Stress Test. AEIP extensively discussed and analyzed in its working groups the final proposal of the EC for a Regulation on a Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP) and the proposal for a Recommendation on Tax Treatment of personal pension products, published on 29 June 2017. In July this year, the High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (HLEG) produced an Interim Report with a set of early policy recommendations, available here. On 10 January, the European Commission has published the Proposal for a Regulation, introducing a European services e-card and related administrative facilities, with the objective to boost productivity and ensure a more efficient allocation of resources in the EU services markets.
