AEIP & PensionsEurope organised a joint webinar as part of the 2023 edition of the European Retirement Week

On 30 November 2023, the European Association of Paritarian Institutions (AEIP) and PensionsEurope organised a joint webinar on the topic of Closing the communication pension gap – How to provide better information to members and beneficiaries? The event brought together pension fund representatives, experts, policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and challenges for pension funds on how to provide better information to members and beneficiaries.

The first panel focused on the EU legislative agenda on the topic of improving communication for Members and Beneficiaries. The second panel covered recent relevant European initiatives and highlighted pension funds’ best practices and actions on what makes good communication for participants.

The joint event wass part of the third edition of the European Retirement Week, which took place from 27 November to 1 December 2023 as an initiative of 14 European associations. Its main objective is to provide a platform to debate the future of pensions and raise citizens’ awareness of the need to save for retirement.
