AEIP input to ESAs joint consultation on DORA second batch of policy products

On 4 March, AEIP submitted input to ESAs joint consultation on DORA second batch of policy products. In principle in our input we welcome the EU’s commitment to establishing a digital operational resilience framework for the financial sector and recognize the importance of safeguarding digital infrastructures from cyber threats. Additionally, overall, in our input we ask for more proportionality and better consideration of the characteristics of paritarian pension funds such as IORPs. We Ask for flexibility where we think it is better to deal with national supervisors than to have rigid prescriptions in the RTS, in line with a principle-based approach to DORA. Ask for a minimalist interpretation of DORA, so that resources can be focused on the biggest risks.

Our full input is available here.
