The 14th edition of the World Pension Alliance & Transatlantic Conference will take place from 14 to 16 June, 9h00 – 17h00 EST in Boston

 

 

The 14th edition of the World Pension Alliance and Transatlantic Conference is organized by the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans (NCCMP), the World Pension Alliance and the Transatlantic partnership, consisting of NCCMP, the European Association of Paritarian Institutions  (AEIP), and the Multi-employer Benefit Plan Council of Canada (MEBCO).

NCCMP, has the pleasure of hosting the 2023 World Pension Alliance & Transatlantic Conference at the Hilton Back Bay in historic Boston, Massachusetts,.on 14th June (focus on pensions), 15th June (focus on healthcare) and 16th June (focus on social dialogue).

Each year, the conference brings together the leading experts in pension and healthcare benefits, as well as Trustees and plan professionals from around the world to share their knowledge and expertise on the most prevalent issues.

The World Pension Alliance & Transatlantic Conference traditionally focuses on main trends that concern pensions and healthcare providers including funds management, sustainable finance, solvency principles, global labor market trends, industrial relations, and social dialogue. The 2023 event will provide a good opportunity to explore:

  • the increased global focus on ESG factors in selecting and evaluating investments
  • evaluating and maintaining pension fund solvency
  • impacts of inflation and the current high interest rate environment
  • differing approaches to improving the access and availability of mental health benefits
  • controlling the cost of healthcare including prescription drugs
  • collective bargaining and non-traditional forms of work
