The final seminar organised in the framework of the social partner project “Mental Health in Construction Work”, will take place in Brussels on 14th March. AEIP participated as the coordinator of the research activities and coordinated the elaboration of the final research report.

The project was led by the European Federation of Building and Woodworkers (EFBWW) and the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) as the European social partners of the Construction sector and with which AEIP has an ongoing protocol of cooperation.

The research action was aimed at getting a better understanding of the overall topic of Mental Health in the Construction Work and related EU policies as well as of existing concepts to deal with this topic. In this respect, seven country reports have been elaborated and analysed by AEIP, which had the responsibility to coordinate the research activities across the 7 EU MSs of focus. In addition, the project aimed at working out a guide for the construction sector, allowing to evaluate psychosocial hazards and to define prevention measures and the publication of a report, providing information on the current situation regarding psychosocial hazards and expected changes in the coming years.

This seminar marks the end of this project and it will be an opportunity for us to present and discuss the final report and the guide.

The final seminar will be held on 14 March 2019 in Hotel Bedford (Rue du Midi 135, 1000) in Brussels.

During the event, AEIP will present the research report and in addition, the project partners will present the guide for practitioners working at company level.

In case, you are interested and available to join us on the 14th March, please contact laura.mesalopez@aeip.net  for additional information, registration and the final programme.
