On the morning of 2 December AEIP organized its online event on the topic of: ‘The future of social protection – the role of supplementary social protection institutions: The added-value of the paritarian model to deliver solutions in a changing context’, as part of the 2021 European Retirement Week and in order to mark its 25th anniversary of activities in Brussels.

The event aimed to showcase and celebrate the activity of AEIP during the past 25 years, as it brought together experts, academics, policy makers, social partners and representatives of AEIP’s members to discuss the important role of the paritarian model.

You can see an extract of AEIP’s event here.

For the full Conference report, please see here.

AEIP organized its event as part of the European Retirement Week, which began with a launch event on 29 November, featuring a keynote speech by Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and the Capital Markets Union.

The European Retirement Week was organized from 29 November to 3 December at the initiative of 11 European associations with the goal of providing a platform for a wide range of stakeholders to debate the future of pensions in Europe and raise citizens’ awareness of the need to save for retirement.

We hope to welcome you at the next edition of the European Retirement Week in 2022!
