News, Position Papers

With a joint position paper, AEIP and Pensions Europe urged the European Commission to take the necessary steps to relieve all pension fund participants from unnecessary VAT burdens, regardless the character of the schemes.

The paper calls for an amendment to the VAT-Directive that provides clarity, is non-discriminative with regard to pension schemes, and remains up-to-date.

For the joint position paper, see here.
