High Level Conference: Boosting Social Entreprises

On Thursday, June 9, AEIP participated in the High level event Boosting Social Enterprises, organised by Luxembourg’s Presidency of the Council. Social Economy Europe’s President, Alain Coheur, welcomed the efforts of the ongoing Presidency aimed at promoting the Social Economy in Europe and the importance of boosting Social Enterprises.

He pointed out that in order to maximise social economy enterprises contribution to sustainable and inclusive growth, quality employment creations, social cohesion and  social innovation, it is necessary to promote the whole European Social Economy formed by cooperatives, mutual societies, associations, foundations, paritarian institutions and social enterprises.

 

 

Conférence de haut niveau : Encourager les entreprises sociales

Le jeudi 9 juin, l’AEIP a participé à un événement de haut niveau intitulé “Encourager les entreprises sociales” organisé par la Présidence luxembourgeoise du Conseil. Le président de l’économie sociale en Europe, M. Alain Coheur, a félicité les efforts de la présidence visant à promouvoir l’économie sociale en Europe et l’importance d’encourager les entreprises sociales.

Il a souligné qu’afin de maximiser la contribution des entreprises de l’économie sociale à une croissance durable et inclusive, la création d’emplois de qualité, la cohésion et l’innovation sociales, il était nécessaire de promouvoir l’ensemble de l’économie sociale européenne formée par des coopératives, sociétés mutuelles, associations, fondations, institutions paritaires et entreprises sociales.
