Global Pension Dialogue Day

 

On 30th May 2018 there will be an unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences concerning retirement around the globe. The European Association of Paritarian Institutions – AEIP, the Federation of the Dutch Pension Funds, the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) and the World Pension Alliance (WPA) of which NCCMP and MEBCO are part, have joined forces to organise the Global Pension Dialogue. 

Olivier Guersent, Director-General FISMA of the EU, will open the Global Pension Dialogue. Nicholas Davis of the World Economic Forum will give us more insight into several global developments and their impact on pensions. David Hudson (J.P. Morgan) will tell us more about pension tech and its practical implications. The world top 5 pension countries - as ranked by the Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index - help us understand the areas in which they excel in adequacy, sustainability and integrity. David Knox will facilitate the discussion. A selection of the available break out sessions: infrastructure investing, adequacy, ESG, investment management fees and financial education and literacy of beneficiaries.

Healthcare & Social Dialogue Day

 

On 31st May, AEIP, in partnership with the American National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans (NCCMP) and the Multi-employer Benefit Plan Council of Canada (MEBCO) is organizing a Day dedicated to healthcare, focusing on exchange of experience and best practices from North America and Europe.

 

 

During the morning of 1st June the focus of the Conference will be on Social Dialogue/ Collective Bargaining disscussed from a sectoral perspective. This session will explore how social partners (trade unions & employers’ organizations) or public private providers develops schemes to address the challenges of new forms of employment (e.g. part-time work), trends on mobility of workers, etc.
